Unveil the Mysteries of the Female: Toltec Teachings, Vol.3, Pt3
Having proved that they can do almost anything as well as, or better than, men, more and more women have become disillusioned with the empty promises of feminism. However, simply to change roles is not the solution. Unless we understand what it means to be male and what it means to be female, we will still be left with each sex feeling isolated and marginalised, as each struggles to find its identity through the opposite sex. In this book Théun Mares shows how, by adopting male patterns, behaviour and logic, women have been tricked into trading a vital part of themselves for male-like qualities that will never bring them lasting happiness or fulfilment. He explains why success for a female is totally different to success for a male, and how women can achieve it without surrendering their unique individuality.

Mists of Dragon Lore: Toltec Teachings Vol.4
What is true belief in Self, and how can we attain it? How can we learn to believe enough in our own abilities to follow our deep inner dreams? How can we escape from our self-limiting doubts and fears? The Mists of Dragon Lore shows how we are mainly imprisoned within the common dream – slaves to our past conditioning. In this book Théun Mares shows how we can recognise the nature of the illusory dream that we believe to be reality and then gain true confidence in ourselves to awaken to our full potential and claim our freedom.

Shadows of Wolf Fire: Toltec Teachings Vol.5
Freedom is not just a vague mystical concept – it sits right within your grasp. But what is true freedom, and how can you find it now? In Shadows of Wolf Fire, Théun lifts the veils of myth as he takes us back to the roots of freedom buried within another time, another place. From these origins we discover the startling nature of real freedom.
A clear pathway is revealed through the timeless Toltec concepts encapsulated within the Rules of the Three- and the Four-Pronged Nagal, as well as The Sorcerer’s Explanation. These unique and intensely beautiful verbalisations reveal truths about life and the source of life that have always remained elusive – beyond the boundaries of our normal understanding.

The Book of Aphorisms: Toltec Teachings Vol.6
All of the Toltec teachings, compiled through experience over aeons, are contained within aphorisms. The explanations of all the different facets contained within these aphorisms have always served to express the teachings in a manner suited to the relevant times. At no stage throughout their history, though, have Toltec seers transmitted this core of their teachings; namely, the aphorisms, in anything other than purely oral form. For the first time, the Toltec aphorisms have been committed to writing in their entirety by the Toltec and seer charged with revealing the Toltec legacy to humanity – Théun Mares. These range from the simplest given to an apprentice at the outset of his or her journey of on the Path of Knowledge, to those given only after a great many years of painstaking endeavour in learning to become a true man or woman of knowledge.

Sufi Women by Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh
The book offers a profound respect accorded through the centuries in writing about women in Sufism from the early days of Islam to the present day, presenting the biographies and anecdotal stories of a number of highly reputed women who were Sufis. Great Satan Eblis by Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh

Now here they all are! Included is The Tawasin.

Zen and Martial Arts

A Book of Five Rings - Go Rin No Sho - Miyamoto Musashi
Investigates the history and philosophy of this traditional form of Japanese swordfighting.

The Unfettered Mind - Takuan Soho - Writings from a Zen Master to a Master Swordsman
Written by the seventeenth-century Zen master Takuan Soho (1573-1645), The Unfettered Mind is a book of advice on swordsmanship and the cultivation of right mind and intention. It was written as a guide for the samurai Yagyu Munenori, who was a great swordsman and rival to the legendary Miyamoto Musashi.
Takuan was a giant in the history of Zen; he was also a gardener, calligrapher, poet, author, adviser to samurai and shoguns, and a pivotal figure in Zen painting. He was known for his brilliance and acerbic wit. In these succinct and pointed essays, Takuan is concerned primarily with understanding and refining the mind--both generally and when faced with conflict. The Unfettered Mind was a major influence on the classic manifestos on swordsmanship that came after it, including Miyamoto Musashi's Book of Five Rings and Yagyu Munenori's Life-Giving Sword.

The Life-Giving Sword: Secret Teachings from the House of the Shogun
Classic teachings from a samurai sword master on sword training as a spiritually transformative practice.
The legendary 17th-century swordsman Yagyu Munenori was the sword instructor and military and political adviser to two shoguns--and a great rival to Miyamoto Musashi. Despite his martial ability and his political power, Munenori's life was spent immersed in Zen teachings. These teachings formed the framework for his deeply spiritual approach to sword fighting. Munenori saw in the practice of the sword a way to transform the student into a total human being. The Life-Giving Sword is Munenori's manifesto on his approach. His central themes are the "life-giving sword"--the idea of controlling one's opponent by spiritual readiness to fight rather than by actual fighting--and "No Sword," which is the idea that the mind must be free of everything, even the sword itself, in order to get to the place of complete mastery.

The Art Of Peace - Morihei Ueshiba
The real way of the warrior is based on compassion, wisdom, fearlessness, and love of nature. So taught the great Morihei Ueshiba (1883–1969), founder of the Japanese martial art of Aikido. Aikido is a mind-body discipline Ueshiba called the “Art of Peace.” It offers a nonviolent way to victory in the face of conflict, and Ueshiba believed that Aikido principles could be applied to all the challenges we face in life—in personal and business relationships, as well as in our interactions with society. This special pocket edition of The Art of Peace features these succinct and pithy teachings—all drawn from Ueshiba’s talks and writings, and compiled into one portable collection by Aikidoist John Stevens.

Abundant Peace: Biography of Morihei Ueshiba
In Abundant Peace, John Stevens tells the real story behind Morihei's achievement, illuminating the man and his message in a way that will delight and stimulate the reader. Focusing on the how and why of Morihei's career, Stevens describes the people, events, and ideas that influenced his lifelong spiritual quest, which culminated in the unique teachings of Aikido. Illustrated with photographs of Morihei in action and filled with revealing anecdotes about his life and times, the book also offers a valuable discussion of the Founder's conception of Aikido as a path of harmony and love, unifying mind and body, self and others, man and the universe.

Budo: Teachings Of The Founder Of Aikido - Morihei Ueshiba
Morihei Ueshiba is rightly known as one of the world's greatest martial artists for his creation of aikido, the synthesis of his superb technique and his profound spiritual insight into the nature of the universe. Aikido is much more than just another fighting style, it is a holistic approach to life that Morihei described as a divine path inspired by the gods that leads to truth, goodness, and beauty.' Sadly, Morihei left few writings to explain his martial arts philosophy, preferring to teach his disciples by direct example.

The Complete Haiku of Matsuo Basho
Matsuo Bashō (1644–1694) is arguably the greatest figure in the history of Japanese literature and the master of the haiku. Bashō: The Complete Haiku of Matsuo Bashō offers in English a full picture of the haiku of Bashō, 980 poems in all. Andrew Fitzsimons’ translation is the first to adhere strictly to form: all of the poems are translated following the syllabic count of the originals.

Taoism

Tao Te Ching - Lao Tzu
'Have little thought of self and as few desires as possible'
The wisdom gathered under his name in the fourth century BC is central to the understanding and practice of Taoism. One of the three great religions of China, Taoism is based upon a concept of the Tao, or Way, as the universal power through which all life flows. The Tao Te Ching offers a practical model by which both the individual and society can embody this belief, encouraging modesty and self-restraint as the true path to a harmonious and balanced existence.

The Way of Chuang Tzu
Chuang Tzu, who wrote in the fourth and third centuries B.C., is the chief authentic historical spokesperson for Taoism and its founder Lao Tzu (a legendary character known largely through Chuang Tzu’s writings). Indeed it was because of Chuang Tzu and the other Taoist sages that Indian Buddhism was transformed, in China, into the unique vehicle we now call by its Japanese name―Zen.

Hinduism

One Hundred Poems of Kabir
Kabir is one of the most beloved Indian mystics. He is also amongst the pioneers of the Bhakti Movement in North India. One Hundred Poems of Kabir is a classic book of poems, translated into English by the maestro, Rabindranath Tagore. These poems are songs of love written in the voice of a lover longing for the beloved. The mystical connotations unravel the journey of the soul to its union with the Supreme Being.

Gitanjali - Rabindranath Tagore
"Gitanjali", or Song Offerings, is a collection of poems translated by the author, Rabindranath Tagore, from the original Bengali. This collection won the Nobel prize for Tagore in 1913.

Selected Short Stories by Rabindranath Tagore
Poet, novelist, painter and musician, Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) is the grand master of Bengali culture. Written during the 1890s, the stories in this selection brilliantly recreate vivid images of Bengali life and landscapes in their depiction of peasantry and gentry, casteism, corrupt officialdom and dehumanizing poverty. Yet Tagore is first and foremost India's supreme Romantic poet, and in these stories he can be seen reaching beyond mere documentary realism towards his own profoundly original vision.
